Your favorites - those are the jewelry you mostly love and wear- Your engagement ring, wedding band, your diamond studs and all you everyday jewelry. We recommend bringing your jewelry in to our showroom every 4-6 months (or more if you like), for a complementary deep cleaning and inspection to check for weak links, loose stones or worn prongs, to avoid problem in the future. Between these deep cleaning a quick cleaning of your jewelry at home will bring some of the sparkle back to your jewelry. Cleaning your jewelry, like anything you wear or use often, will help keep them shine and safe. The best and safe way to clean your fine jewelry at home is to set two bowls with warm water on your table (and away from the sink!). Add a little bit gentle soap to one of the bowls and use a soft toothbrush to brush and clean your jewelry, making sure you are carefully getting under and around the prong or claw settings, where sweat, dead skin, lotion and dirt usually build up. When done put the jewelry in the clear water bowl to wash away the soap and dirt and dry out with a lint free cloth. Don’t use any home cleaning solution, toothpaste or other DIY tips to dip or clean your jewelry. All these cleaning methods can destroy some stones and leave small scratches on metal.

Unworn/unwanted/broken - Those are all the broken pieces, singles earring and old jewelry that you don’t wear anymore or your old family jewelry pieces you don’t wear, but don’t want to let go. Contact us to schedule a private consolation. You can either trade them to a new piece of jewelry you will like to wear or reimagine your one of a kind heirloom pieces to something special you would love to wear, keeping your family memories alive.

Finish your jewelry box spring cleaning with appropriate storing. Make sure your jewelry are not jumbled together and store them separately in in cloths bags or their original box, to avoid pieces getting tangled in or scratching each other.
