Do you wonder what your fine jewelry is worth or is your insurance company asking for am appraisal?

A jewelry appraisals sole purpose is to cover you against damage, loss or theft. The appraisal report includes detailed information of the jewelry and a realistic estimated replacement value in case it is needed. In order to provide insurance coverage, most insurance companies require a written appraisal made by an independent appraiser (not the jewelry seller) that holds a graduate gemologist degree. It is recommended to update the appraisal every 5-7 years.
